Itinanggi ng The Medical City ang kumakalat na impormasyong nagkaroon umano ng raid sa kanilang ospital dahil sa mga Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs).
Narito ang kumalat na fake news sa social media:
“Makati City was raided too just now. Police got their PPEs cos a lot donated to Medical City. Order daw ng “one senator” tas what they do is they repackage them and write “bong go” tas re-donate them to hospitals so they’ll get all the credit.”
Sa statement na inilabas ng The Medical City, sinabi nilang fake news ang kumakalat na ni-raid umano ng gobyerno ang ospital upang kunin ang kanilang mga supplies at kagamitan upang ipamigay sa ibang ospital.
“May kumakalat po na fake news that some hospitals were raided by government specifically OCD to confiscate their supplies and equipment para ipamigay sa ibang hospitals. Fake news po yan,” sabi ni Office of Civil Defense spokesperson Mark Timbal.
