Retired general and former scout ranger Abe Purugganan recently took to Facebook to highlight a Philippine Daily Inquirer Online article about how Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is the back channel to China of former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

In the post, Purugganan challenged netizens, especially those for the Aquino administration to look a the facts first before they start judging and complaining.
He questioned what other things the Aquino administration may have been hiding from the people in the Philippines, considering that back channeling is for covert communication.

"Sa mga naiinis sa military build-up ng China sa West Philippine Sea, tanungin si Mr. Trillianes. Ano ba talaga ang mga pinag usapan sa back channeling na ginawa niya sa China? At sa opposition, tanungin niyo si Mr. Nonoy Aquino kung ano yong mga pabuya na ibinigay niya sa China at ano ang mga kapalit. Hindi puro patutsada at panlilinlang ang ginagawa niyo.
