“No, I definitely don’t want to be directed by Darryl Yap. I don’t want to work with him,” sabi ni Labajo.

Ayon kay Conlan, masyado raw assuming si Labajo na gusto rin siyang makatrabaho ng direktor. tanong niya, “how do you know that Direk Darryl would want to work with you?”
Dagdag pa ni Conlan, maraming artista ang gustong makatrabaho si Direk Darryl dahil napakagaling nito.

I am sure there are many actors in the Philippines right now who would relish the chance to be directed by such an influential and relevant director, this is clearly the case judging by the stellar cast of actors in his most recent works.
The way I see it is that Direk Darryl is a much loved, relevant director and awesome story teller as well as genius writer. His work on these latest films, ‘Maid in Malacanang’ and ‘Martyr or Murderer’ are an attempt to tell the other side of the story. The story of the Marcos family which has been untold for close to four decades.
Have you ever heard the phrase, ‘There are two sides to every story?’
Well I believe that the work of Direk Darryl has just as much right to be heard as the movie which you are in too!!!!
